What to Bring In General

Although we try to foresee all anticipated required items please don’t take anything for granted... Ask us.

  • Identification for Canadian customs (passport is ideal) please check with your customs office regarding latest regulations for border crossing especially for fisherman and hunters.
  • Medication (if necessary)
  • Toiletries
  • Reading or prescription glasses if required
  • Sunscreen and lip balm
  • Sunglasses (polarizing preferred)
  • Insect repellent (Muskol aerosol spray recommended)
  • Mosquito net Jackets and hats
  • Cameras, Video Camera, extra film and tapes, Batteries
  • Hat with a brim or a visor and or toque
  • Good quality rain gear, jacket and pants
  • Warm waterproof gloves
  • Hiking boots and or rubber boots
  • Towels
  • We do supply our boats with PFD's but if you have small children we recommend you bring their own personal PFD's
  • Although wood is supplied for campfire use we recommend you bring your own splitting axe
  • Your own lawn chairs
  • Our cabins are well equipped with all kitchen and cooking equipment but for large groups we recommend you bring cooking equipment to match the size of your group
  • Paper towels
  • coolers to match your needs
  • freezer bags
  • garbage bags
  • Duct tape and packing tape
  • First aid kit
  • Laptop
  • Cell Phone
  • Please don’t forget to leave your family with the lodge’s phone numbers

  • Tackle. (not sure what kind?...ask us!)
  • Filleting knife and sharpener
  • Compass
  • Good quality flashlights and spare batteries
  • Spare props for your outboards (you never know...around here rocks always win)
  • GPS and spare batteries
  • Landing nets
  • Anchors
  • Rope
  • Paddles

  • All accessories for weapon of choice
  • Compass and or GPS
  • GOOD quality flashlight and spare batteries
  • Warm gloves
  • Knife
  • Day backpack
  • Coolers for your hides and meat
  • Freezer bags
  • Hunting clothes and boots suitable for light and or heavy rain, cold and or hot days. As always layering your clothing is the best
  • Protective case for weapons suitable for ATV and boat traveling
  • Personal safety harness
