Our hunting area is roughly 360 square miles in northern Manitoba. As we are located in the Pre Cambrian Shield, our area is comprised of lakes, rivers, muskegs and rock outcrops. It only has one road that runs through it and has very little human activity. None - during the spring bear season. Our Black Bear hunts are focused on quality versus quantity. We never put through more than 12 hunters per year. We have 26 proven bait sites that are accessible by trucks, ATV’s and boats. Our average weights for bears is around 275 to 300 pounds but we always get a few giants weighing in over 400 pounds with several around the 350 pound mark. Typical coloured bears are harvested every season but the numbers vary from year to year. During our spring hunt in 2018 we harvested two Manitoba giants weighing in at 442 and 440 lb.What To Bring
