One year we caught seventeen master angler walleye while shore fishing near the motel in June!

Cranberry Portage in the aurora oval so watching the northern lights is common during the clear winter nights. Caribou Lodge is a great place to view the northern lights because of our location, the distance from town and artificial light sources. Northern lights are not visible during our summer nights due to the long daylight hours.
